About the trip
What is Carnival Magic? A complex opened by Phuket FantaSea in 2020. Not just one show on stage, but an entire theme park with several zones. In the evening, guests walk around the area, watch street performances, and take photos in costume decorations. The climax is a grand parade and final show.
Evening program. The transfer picks up from the hotel between 16:30–17:30. On the grounds — a fair street, mini-attractions, photo zones. At 19:30 dinner — buffet in a huge restaurant. At 20:00 the parade starts: a procession of artists in costumes with pyrotechnics, dances, live music. After the parade — the final show with lasers, fireworks, and 3D projections.
Four categories of tickets. Standard tickets — regular audience tickets. Royal tickets — closer to the stage. Standard + dinner — buffet added. Royal + dinner — top category. The difference between categories is 300–600 ฿, for the first time "Standard + dinner" is enough.
How does it differ from FantaSea? FantaSea is a theatrical show with a storyline in an enclosed hall. Carnival Magic is a street festival with a parade in the style of a Brazilian carnival, more dynamic and noisy. Both formats are interesting — if you are staying for a long time and want to see both, the impressions will be different.
