1. Sunday Walking Street (Lard Yai) — The Main One
When: every Sunday 4:00-10:00 PM
Where: Thalang Road, Old Phuket Town
Length: 360 meters of the central street are closed to traffic
What to buy: street food (O-Tao, Moo Ping, Mango Sticky Rice), Thai pants, handmade soap, Chiang Rai coffee.
Prices: 30-200 THB per dish, 200-500 THB for clothing.
Tip: arrive at 4:30 PM, later it gets crowded. Parking is paid, but there is free parking a 5-minute walk away. The market is located in Old Phuket Town — combine it with a walk around.
2. Naka Weekend Market — The Biggest
When: Saturday-Sunday 4:00-11:00 PM
Where: Phuket Town, near Tesco Lotus
Size: 7,000+ stalls on an area the size of 5 football fields
What to buy: clothes (top picks — sportswear and beachwear at 100-300 THB), souvenirs, antiques.
